Outlook and District Playschool

The Vision of the Outlook and District Playschool program is to provide an enjoyable, safe and supportive environment in which children can play, grow and experience new situations.  Through these experiences, children may gain independence, confidence and a positive foundation for future school experiences.

Outlook has had a playschool program in effect for over 25 years.  Starting in a church basement, our playschool has grown and evolved over the years.

 

Now located in a space that has endless possibilities and the advantage of outdoor space for the children to play, it is used to the fullest.  With the easy accessibility to the heart of Outlook, our students enjoy many field trips outside of the playschool with just a simple walk down the street.

Our Playschool is ran by a committee that is comprised of parents of the students.  We encourage all parents to be involved in what is happening at our playschool.  This is OUR playschool for OUR kids.

The school year runs from mid-September until the beginning of June.  Four-year old students can attend 1 or 2 days a week and three year old students can attend 1 day a week.
